Malamaal Weekly!

im talking abt Priyadarshan's film "Malaamal Weekly".....a gr8 movie ....which will make u cry while u LAUGH !!!!..starring Paresh rawal , Om Puri Ritesh and asraani ..and not to forget Rajpal Yadav as "baaje"... this movie is definitely a paisa vassol

It speaks abta a dehaati village ..whose residents resemble every indian villager ..who is poor and needs some basic things like food but still wuldnt let go off his principles and values...

thats abt a true real Indian Villager...who knows what it is like to stay in the worst kind of living conditions ...but still doesnt loose hope ...will not stop praying ....
and he knows that he must enjoy life to the fullest

for him even a small amount like 10/- is a blessing ..... his friends and family mean more than some temptation like money !!!!
yes its money !!!
the greatest temptation !! for man !

the actors succeed in giving the movie a feel of an original village ...witht their sets , makeup and costumes ....

my favouritecharacter was baaje who has played quite a role that will make u want to shut his mouth !!!..., put him in a sack and throw him in a river..well to understand this u need to watch the movie !!!

well the ending is superb as is expected from priyadarshan's movies ....i laughed like nething

with no songs watsoever .. the movie still rocks !

As the day passes by ....i find myself humming tunes of songs which i find soothing to the ears ....
like ...daniel bedingfield 's "if ur not the one" is goin on in my mind currently ! one of my friends gave it to me and said its a nice number......

the other songs that i wud keep listening to and never get bored is Bryan Adams..."really loved a woman"...a cool song indeed ..i love the starting !...

MLTR's "someday somewhere" is my all time favourite too..dont mind listening to it forever and ever and ever......

"Please Forgive me " ,"Everything i do", "incomplete","hit by a feeling".."take me to your heart", "genie", "ur still the one", are allways in my playlist....by default!!!!!! ;)


Next comes my list of hindi music which is more interesting .....
well the best to soothe the ears is my folder called jaggu dada dont worry its not the name of a gangester ....its Jagjit Singh

undoubtedly...he is the king of ghazals ....aint he !??? his best numbers according to me are ..."tere khushboo " , "kaagaz ki kashti","baat niklegi","pyar ka pehla"...and the list goes on...
but there is one ghazal by him called.."Apni aankhon ke samunder "...beleive it or not i listen to it everyday !!!!....donno why but it makes me feel nice and closer to myself ....

there r other songs .....specially the hindi film music ....on top of this list is AR Rahman !!!!

a big name ..needs no introduction...

Saathiya , Dil Se.., and Bombay r the films whose music i enjoy like nething ....specially the theme music of dil se and bombay !

ghulam ali, sonu nigam , STRINGS and many others are really good to hear!
